Professional Advocacy: Compassion Center, and it’s socioeconomic development division, Compassion Center International, maintain lobbyists, professional advocates and legal professionals federally and locally to represent and provide healthcare professionals with an educated voice when it comes to medical cannabis and healthcare policy and program administration. Compassion Center provides its providers and management services clients with professional advocacy, legislative lobbying and government relations, locally and federally. 

Patient Advocacy: Compassion Center is here to serve and advocate on behalf of patients. From educating primary care providers to listening and helping patients understand their treatment options – a patient advocate can be a lifesaver. Compassion Center provides patients, students and patient advocates a platform to unify resources and amplify one’s ability to advocate for themselves. 

What do Patient Advocates Do? Patient Advocates are trained to assess the situation and identify gaps that may have been overlooked by the patient, and/or their care team, and chart the best path forward to achieve desired results, or some version thereof. 

Who do Patient Advocates Work For? Patient Advocates can work with medical providers, schools and universities, government agencies and landlords to resolve your medical related issues, as long as your issues are related to you acting exactly within the parameters of the law.
